Joy Park
Department Assistant - Associate
Hi, my name is Joy Park, and I am the Administrative Secretary to the Pre-Kindergarten and the Developmental and Diagnostic Reading Clinic. I have worked on the UWG campus for many years, in both full and part time positions. In October of 2004 it was my love of children that brought me to the Pre-K. The Pre-K truly feels like "home" to me.
My family has lived in Carrollton since 1987. I have 2 daughters. After graduating from LaGrange College Meghan has remained in LaGrange and works for Troup County DFCS. Hannah graduated from UWG in 2006 and went to work for Southwire in their Retail Sales International Marketing Department. My husband, Tom, and I have been married for 28 wonderful years and we still have a "baby" at home, Dazi, our black lab.
I look forward to the start of each new school year and getting to know the Pre-K children and their families.

Molly Shilling
Teacher Assistant
Hello! My name is Molly Shilling. After graduating from Clemson University, my career “took off” as I became a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. During my 12 years of flying, I was briefly based in New York City, then in Atlanta for many years. In 2001, my husband Greg and I moved to Carrollton with our 2 wonderful boys, Luke and Alex. At that time, I quit my job with Delta to stay home and raise my sons. Since then, I have been active in the community with volunteer work, especially at Carrollton Elementary School, where I helped in classrooms, and served on the PTVO board. In 2007, I briefly worked as Ms. Johnnie’s assistant here at the Pre-K, and now I am looking forward to joining the program full time and can’t wait to get to know the next class of children!
