Welcome to the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Sport Studies. Our purpose is to contribute to the improved quality of life for the citizens of Georgia and beyond. The department accomplishes this through the training of educators and sport business professionals and through the promotion of health, fitness, wellness, and sport. Our programs in Personal Wellness and Leisure Activities, Health and Physical Education Teacher Education, and Sport Management are designed to prepare students to be leaders in both their professional and personal endeavors.
